Seventeen-year-old Michael travels eight thousand miles north to a remote English boarding school, carrying a past he has told no one. He finds a child’s fingerprint pressed into a Victorian brick in the crumbling wall of his boarding house, and he cannot leave it alone. It draws him into digging up the school’s hidden history. He also falls in love for the first time, with a girl who has secrets of her own. The more he uncovers, the more he begins to wonder what all this digging will cost the people he has come to love.
FINGERPRINT is a story about enduring love and the marks that forgotten people leave behind.
